Customer Testimonials

To the Crew of In-Laws Construction,
We want to take a minute to say to say thank you to all of you for everything you have done for us this past year. Without all of you, our dreams would not be realized. What a perfect way to start the New Year, with hope! It truly is the most wonderful gift.

Many of you have seen us around the house, me zooming around (trying to give Roger a run for his money), or Russell running around driving you all crazy with his millions of questions, endless chatter and energy. What you may not know is that four and a half years ago, when I was pregnant with Rusell and expecting just the gift of having a child. What ended up happening left me as I am today.

The day I had him, I suffered a major stroke due to doctor’s error. I'm not sure many of you can imagine, but a part of me died that day. When I awoke from the stroke, I could not move or speak. I could not grasp the idea that the baby they kept showing me was mine. I could not understand why I could not talk or move.

From that point forward, I had to fight for every bit of what I have now. All of those mundane tasks that I took for granted every day are now monumental tasks. Another thing my stroke took away from me was my ability to show emotion. It is not always possible.

The reason why I share this with all of you is that even though I may not show my appreciation, you have times a zillion. This home you have created means more than I could ever express. This home represents a new chapter for us.

For the first time in four and a half years I have been given some independence back. I will have freedom again and for the first time in four and a half years I will be able to be me, a wife and a mom.

So when you are leaving the job site for the last time, think of your part in all of this and know you helped a family truly have the opportunity to thrive.

So thank you each and every one of you. Know that me and my family are so very grateful to all of you!

Merry Christmas Guys!
Love,
Hiedi, John and Russell (The Sevigny Clan)

"From the bidding process through final completion, In-Laws Construction kept its promises and completed my vinyl siding project in a professional manner. Roger kept his appointments, monitored the status of the project, and had his crew on site every day that weather permitted. His crew members were courteous and hard working. The results show an attention to detail indicating their high level of training and experience. I have used the services of several contractors to work on my home. My experiences with In-Laws Construction was the most satisfactory of all. I will be calling on them for future projects."

After our architect completed the design of our addition, he referred us to In-Laws Construction LLC. Being curious, my fiance and I checked out their website and saw all of the awards and credentials that they had received in recent years. We were impressed and wanted to see if there was a genuine difference between normal, everyday contractors and an award-winning contractor like In-Laws Construction. The short answer is yes, and that difference was immediately apparent.

During the estimating phase, we were picky and often changed our minds. We wanted to get the most of what we wanted with our money. In-Laws Construction LLC, helped us choose things we wanted and decide what was less important. My fiancé and I are not knowledgeable with construction, so their advice and expertise helped us to do things we would never have thought of on our own.

Once construction began, there was not one major issue in the entire project. Considering all of the work done to our house (dormer cape, foundation, kitchen addition, siding, & deck), it was no accident that the entire project occurred without a significant hitch. However, in the real world, minor issues will always arise when you are dealing with complicated projects. To think that everything is going to occur perfectly is unrealistic. For example, this project began in October and carried well into the winter months. Then there was the Ice Storm of 2008. Nothing goes completely as planned especially in New England during the winter.

So when it comes to choosing a contractor, the question is not “Will there be any issues?” because the answer to that question will always be yes. Instead, the question you should ask yourself is “Will issues that arise be handled professionally by the contractor to the satisfaction of the homeowner?” If you chose In-Laws Construction, the answer will always be yes to that question too.

Now that the house has been completed, we are thankful we chose In-Laws Construction. From their craftsmanship to their professionalism, In-Laws Construction was simply top-notch.

There is a reason why Roger and In-Laws Construction have received all of their awards. We encourage everyone to find out why for themselves.

Best Regards,
